Description of the place
The Danube Tower is the tallest building in Austria at 252 metres, and is the 59th tallest tower in the world. The tower was inaugurated in 1964 near the northern bank of the Danube. Visitors come to it to get majestic views of the river and the surrounding hills, and they can do so by riding one of the tower’s high-speed elevators that take them to the amazing observation deck that provides panoramic views of the region.
