Davit Gareji Lavra

Davit Garigi Lavra is a cave monastery complex in the Kakheti region, 90 km from Tbilisi, and is considered one of the most prominent religious and cultural centers in Georgia. The original complex of this monastery extended over 25 km and included 22 small monasteries, three of which are now located on the border Disputed with Azerbaijan. This monastery is still operating today, attracting thousands of visitors every year, and both Georgians and foreigners visit this place for various reasons.
