De Hef
The De Hef Bridge is the common name for Koningshavenbrug, and it was built over the port of Koningshaven in Rotterdam. It was opened in 1927 and was considered the first bridge of its kind in Western Europe at the time. It was used for the movement of trains from the central station to the rest of the city. It was destroyed several times, but today it is a national monument open to tourists and visitors.
