The Monastery of Quruntal or Minzar Quruntal is considered one of the most important and prominent historical tourist attractions in Palestine in general and the city of Jericho in particular. It is a Greek Orthodox monastery built in the era of Queen Helena on the slopes of Mount Arbaeen at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, which gave it an interesting architectural shape and design. There are many stories that gave this monastery a distinct importance, including that Mr. Al-Samih sought refuge in it after his baptism in the Jordan River and fasted there for 40 days. Visitors can climb the mountain on foot and between the winding roads to reach this distinctive monastery, where they can live the full experience, and they can also reach it through the cable car.
