Description of the place
The Democracy Garden in Busan was created to commemorate the lives of the citizens who greatly dedicated their lives to the development of modern Korean history through the 4.19 Revolution, the Puma (Busan and Masan) Democracy Movement, and the Jun Democracy Movement. One of the main structures in the park is the Democracy Movement Memorial Center. In the middle of the building is The Statue of the Flame of Democracy, and the center includes a hall dedicated to visitors to experience solitary confinement.
