deokjin park

Deokjin is a unique garden in Jeonju because it is centered around a natural pond dating back to the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392). It is no ordinary pond, covered with huge lotus flowers that bloom every morning. The park extends over an area of 13 km, and the lake covers two-thirds of this area. The park provides its visitors with many facilities, including shaded resting places, small boats that can be ridden in the lake, a cafeteria, and others.
