Deri Museum
The Derre Museum in Debrecen is one of the most important museums in the whole of Hungary. In addition to its exhibits of local cultural importance, it is famous for its huge collection of pieces collected by Frederick Déri that represent various aspects of global human civilization. The most important landmarks in the museum are Stunning Christ paintings by Mihály Munkácsy. Besides the permanent exhibitions, the museum also presents temporary exhibitions and a set of four sculptures by Ferenc Medgyessy outside the main building, which were awarded the Grand Prix at the 1937 Paris Exposition.
