Deshmoret E Kombit

This monument was established in the city, to perpetuate the memory of the martyred heroes who fell on the way to liberate the country. The monument is a long stone obelisk in the middle of the square, bearing a red star at the top indicating the state of Albania, with an open hall behind it, which includes stone graves for some martyrs, And a stone plaque engraved with the names of hundreds of them, in order to perpetuate them and introduce future generations to them. The visitor can sit and wander around the monument to take a closer glimpse.
