Devanahalli Fort

The Devanahalli Fort is one of the oldest castles in the city of Bangalore, where it witnessed important historical events over many years. It was initially built of mud and then turned into a huge impregnable stone building suitable for defending the city against its enemies and those aspiring to control it and seize its resources or intercept the path of pilgrims Hindus coming to it with precious offerings.
