Description of the place
Legend has it that the Diktion Andron Cave is where Titaness Rhea hid her son Zeus to protect him from his father, Cronus, who used to eat his children; The cave is located near the village of Psychro on the rocky northern side of Mount Dikti; Locals call it Psychro after the village, and it is one of the best visited archaeological sites in Crete.
