Djebel Chambi National Park

The area of Mountain Al Shanabi National Park is 6723 hectares, and it is located in the mountain of the same name, which is located at an altitude of 1544 meters above sea level, and due to its importance in protecting local plants and diverse animals, it was classified as a national park in 1980 AD, and this park is considered home to 262 species of plants, such as oak trees, Aleppo pine, rosemary, Phoenician juniper, and others. It is home to reptiles and birds, and 24 species of mammals, such as mountain deer, jackals, wild cats, foxes, and others. In addition, it includes the environmental museum, which displays traces of previous human life that inhabited the region.
