One of the most interesting museums in the Russian city of Irkutsk, this house was owned by some of the revolutionaries who tried to stage a coup in the late 19th century and were exiled to Siberia as a result. This is considered the first Russian revolution and a forerunner of the subsequent revolutions that led to the Soviet Union. As such, the house forms an important part of the history of Siberia and Russia. The house is well laid out with a range of displays providing information about the family and also has many family belongings, make sure you come here if you are in Irkutsk.
