Dom zu St Jakob
Innsbruck Cathedral, formerly the parish church of St. James, was restored in 1964. Perhaps its most prominent western feature is the high twin tower and the high dome above the choir. It was built in the Baroque style in 1724 AD, and was completely restored after World War II. Interior highlights include stunning ceiling paintings glorifying St. James, and Baroque marble altarpieces from 1732 depicting the famous Virgin, Maria Hilf.
