Dominion Museum Building
The construction of this museum was completed in 1936 AD, and it is located next to the National War Memorial. The building once housed the National Museum, the National Art Gallery of New Zealand and the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, and now houses part of the Massey University of Wellington campus. Prior to 1913 AD, the Dominion Museum was known as the Colonial Museum which was originally housed in a small wooden building. This museum contains holdings that cover New Zealand's experiences in the war, such as paintings, cannons, and many others. Do not hesitate and visit it with your family and friends and enjoy learning about the history of this great country!
