Discover 2,000 years of Utrecht's history under the cathedral square. Explore the monuments, dating back to the Roman-era Castellum Tractum, with an interactive light-up. Walking through the massive foundations of the medieval Gothic Dome Cathedral, history literally springs to life. The museum provides tour guides with a wide historical culture and are very friendly, as they answer all visitors' questions even after the end of the tour. There are also some short documentaries showing the history of the cathedral.
