Donau Park

For 70 years this wonderful park was a center for pistol shooting, then it fell into disuse. In the 1960s this area was renovated and turned into a local recreational area. It contains the distinctive architectural landmark, which is the Danube Tower, which is 252 meters high. This park was opened at the Vienna International Garden Show in 1964. Today, there are plenty of green playgrounds, skating rinks and public tennis courts. It is the ideal place to see the statues of famous international artists, in addition to enjoying the picturesque nature that adorns the place.
