Dongdaemun Shopping Complex

Opened in 1970, Dongdaemun Shopping Complex is the largest single market in Asia, as well as one of the oldest with more than 40 years of history. In 1985, Dongdaemun Shopping City was added to the complex, bringing the total to four buildings entirely. It houses this traditional market Numerous wholesale and retail stores specialize in various fabrics, materials, accessories and bridal products, and up to eighty percent of all fabrics traded in Korea pass through here, allowing for goods to be sold at reasonable prices.
