Doppelmayr Zoo

Located in Wolfurt near Bregenz, the Double Meyer Zoo has been an attraction for the whole family since its foundation in 1963. On a leisurely walk through the hillside park you will find porcupines, giant tortoises, raccoons and baby donkeys as well as all kinds of birds. Currently, there are more than 400 animals of 70 different species that can be detected and monitored in a habitat of about 20,000 square metres. The birds live in large outdoor enclosures by the pond and in facilities at the zoo's hillside where visitors can see rare species of ducks, parrots, snowy owls, and pheasants.
