Description of the place
The Dormition Cathedral is located in the heart of the city of Omsk, and it is one of the most prominent and famous landmarks of the city. It is not possible to leave the city without having the opportunity to visit this archaeological landmark. It was built in 1891 by order of the last Czar of Russia Nicholas II. Its eye-catching golden and turquoise domes are its most prominent feature.
