Drago de Agalán

Nature lovers cannot avoid visiting Drago de Agalan, which is a sacred dragon tree that many legends intertwine around. It is located between the cities of Imada and Alajero and is considered to this day a symbol of beauty, strength and harmony. It is the most famous plant of the Canary Islands, and it is characterized by a large number of roots and branches that end in narrow pointed leaves. It also has therapeutic properties, as its juice is used against diseases such as tuberculosis.
