Durdevica Tara Bridge

The Dordevica Tara Bridge is located between the villages of Bodhívica and Tresnica, and rises above the valley of the Tara River, and is characterized by its amazing architecture. It is considered one of the largest and most beautiful bridges in the world and one of the most visited tourist areas in Montenegro. Hundreds of buses with thousands of tourists come every year to visit this bridge. Which includes a wonderful mixture of nature and architecture, and this large concrete bridge was designed by the largest architects in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Mijat S. Trojanović, and it was built between 1938 and 1940, and upon its completion, it was the largest bridge built of reinforced concrete in Europe.
