Elisabeth Park

Elisabeth Park is the largest park in Szeged, with an area of 15 hectares. It used to be an area full of wild trees and weeds, and has been transformed into a thriving Baroque garden with many giant trees such as oaks and maples that give visitors perfect shade to lie under. This park hosts the Open Air Festival and some of the city's famous sporting events. It also has a relaxation area with a fountain and is a popular place for exercise, picnics and cycling.
