Elisenbrunnen

The Elizen Fountain, located in the heart of Aachen, is a symbol of the city. Its building, consisting of an open lobby and two large pavilions, is famous for its sulfur-smelling thermal water. Its drinking fountains provide sulfuric and hot water at a temperature of 52 degrees Celsius. The strong smell emitted should not stop you because of the content. The high level of sulfur in the water is from its experience, as it is said to have great healing properties. It is worth noting that to the right of the entrance, there is a model of the Elizen Fountain, which is designed to help the blind in particular to learn about its various facilities.
