Elisabeth Park was created in 1898 AD in honor of the Queen of Hungary who was assassinated by the anarchists in Geneva, and it is a public park and is open to locals and tourists around the clock. Comprised of a large area of walking paths surrounded by lush trees, this park is home to the Elisabeth Monument, sculpted by the famous Hungarian sculptor József Róna.
