Eski Shahr Marshum Museum is a craft museum that displays various handcrafted works of art made of “mersom”, which is a mineral composed of sensitive magnesium silicate, characterized by its white and gray color, and is used in making tobacco channels in pipes. This material abounds in the Eski Shahr region at depths up to 150 meters underground, and a collection of the finest ornaments and artifacts made of this material can also be found in the museum.
