Essen Minster

This cathedral was established since 1958 in the center of Essen, Germany, where it was taken as the seat of the Roman Catholic bishop in the city of Essen, and it is a Gothic church dedicated to Saints Cosmas and Damian and the Virgin Mary, and it was established in the Gothic and Romanesque styles together, where sandstone was used The building is light in color, in addition to the use of red bricks in some parts of the building. The building also combines many elements dating back to different architectural styles, as it combines high columns with capitals of different shapes of the Gothic style, with prominent rounded arches known as Romanesque art.
