Ferris Wheel

The Ferris wheel is located on Mount Akhun in the city of Sochi at an altitude of 701 meters above sea level. This wheel reaches the highest point of attraction on Mount Akhun, located a few meters from Akhun Tower, and has become the highest point of view of the city's panorama. From the top you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, the Olympic facilities, as well as the mountains of the main Caucasus mountain range. The place is very suitable for taking photographs. It is worth noting that the speed of rotation of the wheel is low, as the complete cycle takes 8.5 minutes. The wheel has a diameter of 38 meters and a weight of 65 tons and rests on the foundation, where 600 tons of concrete is poured.
