Festival Timitar

The port city of Agadir, which is very popular among tourists, attracts large numbers of visitors in the month of July for the annual Timitar Music Festival. The festival began as a celebration of the culture of the indigenous Amazigh (Berber) community belonging to North Africa. Among many locals in all the cities of Morocco, as well as among tourists coming to Morocco, the festival offers a diverse program of cultural and artistic activities, in parallel with the wonderful musical evenings.
