Fish Market Exhibition Hall
The Fish Market Exhibition Hall is a curiously modern building with Moorish elements, built at the beginning of the twentieth century (1917-1921) by the architect Prospero Lafarga. Large semi-interior courtyards among them are owned by the Alicante City Council, which rehabilitated it and appropriated it for exhibition hall use, opening it in 1992. Throughout its history as an exhibition space, the Fish Market Gallery has hosted numerous exhibitions of various genres including painting, sculpture, history and nature, as well as various cultural activities. Such as the new future market, doll festival, book fair, and others.
