Fladbro Forest
Fladbro Forest
In 1897 AD, the city council of Randers purchased a huge piece of land, cultivated it, and turned it into a forest. Today, the forest is one of the largest in Denmark, and it is a mixture of coniferous wood, oak, and beech with a touch of natural forests. In the forest you can find burial mounds from the Stone Age, there are hills and slopes with good opportunities for play and many hanging walks that give you the opportunity to have an interesting adventure, and in the summer you can see many frogs and other small animals in the wet forest floor.
