Description of the place
The Franciscan Monastery is located in central Bosnia. The monastery was next to the busy road, and when the monks could no longer tolerate the noise and traffic, they moved to the higher ground above Vojnica. They started building the new monastery in 1502, and then the monastery was destroyed in 1524. The Franciscans built another new monastery on the same site and with the same dimensions in 1664.
