Description of the place
The Folklore Museum Bruges lets you enter the homes and businesses of ancient residents of Bruges from the turn of the 17th century. The museum is located in a row of eight historic 17th-century buildings that were also at one time homes for the guild of shoemakers with one-room lodgings. The museum contains an additional modern architectural extension. In the historic white houses, you can see rooms that are made to resemble Scandinavian families.
