Description of the place
new Aecom-designed square opened in the heart of Milan to huge crowds in December 2012. Named after Gae Aulenti, the late Italian architect of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the new square was opened in the heart of Milan. Gay Aulenti Square is a popular square with tall skyscrapers, shops and a bookstore. From this square one can see the long 'Bosco Vertical' flat with trees on all the balconies.
