Gallery of Modern Art

Modern Art Gallery is an art museum, located on Brisbane's Southbank. This gallery is part of the Queensland Cultural Centre, and is 150 meters from Art Gallery of Queensland. This exhibition opened its doors for the first time in 2006, to be the largest exhibition of modern and contemporary art in Australia, with an exhibition hall area of more than 25,000 square meters, which displays collections of contemporary art from Australia, Asia, and the Pacific region, and this exhibition also includes the first cinema in Australia, as well as being home to the Children's Art Centre, collaborates on interactive artwork with leading artists from around the world.
