Ganghwa Peace Observatory
The Ganghwa Peace Observatory was established in the northern area of the restricted civilian area in Cheolsan-ri. Entrance to this area was off-limits to the general public until 2008. Since then, the observatory has provided visitors with the possibility to see the natural ecosystem of this area and also displays images related to the war. Korean (1950-1953) and has a small memorial area where you can pay tribute to fallen civilians/soldiers. If you can't go to North Korea, this is your best option to look at areas of it clearly, but it is preferable to go on a clear day to be able to see with the highest degree of clarity possible.
