Description of the place
The Paleo Gardens around Venus Castle near Trapani were created in true English style by Conti Pepoli in 1872 when he granted the lease of the castle and towers until they could be restored to their former glory. Then the Paleo Gardens were added in order to improve the site and everything was paid for by the rulers of Trapani. Here you can enjoy a breathtaking view such as the salt basins of Trapani, the Igadi archipelago and the coast of Marsala, as flowers surround the area.
