Elvira Gate is an arch located in Granada, and it was the main gate in it, and it was built in the Moorish era by Yusuf I to protect the city from invaders, and the Catholic Monarchs occupied the city shortly after, as a procession walked through the gate as a symbol of victory, Centuries later, Napoleon's forces invaded Granada and destroyed the gate and the nearby castle, leaving only the passage, one of the city's many fine examples of Arab architecture.
