The Gdansk City Mosque, or as it is called the Jamal al-Din al-Afghani Mosque, is one of the few mosques scattered around the city of Gdansk, which extends over a spacious area and can accommodate a good number of worshipers. The mosque was distinguished by a unique architectural design, from one dome and one minaret, and from a spacious inner courtyard that includes luxurious Iranian carpets.
