Giardini della Biennale
Giardini della Biennale
Commissioned by Napoleon in 1807 AD, these gardens are a new element in the urban landscape of Venice. As it was built by restoring the swampy area and sacrificing many of the huge complexes in the area, its current arrangement is divided into two parts, the first is the exhibition and the second is the biennial wings, which gradually increased starting from the Italian pavilion (1907 AD) to form a unique group. It overlooks a body of water and is full of trees and natural paths that soothe the soul and encourage relaxation.
