Gibran Museum
The Gibran Museum, located in the Monastery of Saint Sarkis in the town of Bcharre, is a museum dedicated to introducing the Lebanese philosopher, painter, poet, and writer Gibran Khalil Gibran. The museum was established in 1935. The museum contains 440 paintings, in addition to original drawings and manuscripts of the Lebanese philosopher. It also contains His craft tools that he used during his life in New York. His sister had bought the building according to his will, and the philosopher was buried in it, due to its high moral value, as it was the place of retreat for Saint Sarkis in the seventh century AD, and the museum was expanded between 1975 and 1995.
