Girl Sand Beach

Sand Girl Beach is a beautiful beach surrounded by tall pine forests, and it is one of the quiet beaches that are not crowded with people, as it is about an hour away from the city of Marmaris. One of the most important features of this beach that makes tourists and locals flock to it is the low sea water level in it, where It allows individuals to go deep into the beach for approximately 600 meters, and the water will not exceed the knees. This phenomenon has been associated with the well-known legend in the region, which tells the story of a girl who wanted to cross the sea, so she put sand in her dress, in order to walk over it, until the sand ran out. And drowned, the legend is also one of the reasons why the beach is called Sand Girl Beach.
