Description of the place
historical landmark located in the Old City, and it is considered the most famous symbol in it. It is a roof of honor that was completed in 1500, decorated with 2,657 gilded copper tiles, and the landmark was created by Emperor Maximilian I to celebrate his marriage to Maria Sforza. The king and his wife used the balcony to watch the festivals, tournaments and other events that took place in the center of the city.
