Gombito Tower

The Gambito Tower is located in the upper part of the city of Bergamo. It was built in the twelfth century and is considered one of the highest towers in the city. It takes its name from the Latin language; From the word compitum, which means roads or crossroads, and the reason for choosing this name is that it formed a crossroads between different cities, and it was used as a means of defense for the city during wartime, and today tourists can visit the tower and enjoy watching the city from above.
