Gottingen Seven Monument
The Göttingen VII Memorial was built to commemorate an important event in German constitutional history, and to acknowledge the factions of citizens that are the foundation of society. It is a six-meter-high gate and nine bronze statues of Göttingen's democratic professors, three of which belong to members of Göttingen VII who were expelled from the Kingdom of Hanover As for the other four, they stand in front of the king after they were dismissed from their positions only without being expelled.
