Description of the place
The State Flower Garden is located on the slopes of Elk Hill in Ooty at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level. The garden was established in 1995 to celebrate the centenary of the Flower Show, which is held every year in the city of Ooty. The park extends over 4 hectares. Ooty has a unique tropical mountain climate that is the ideal environment for growing flowers and roses.
