Grand Mosque

This mosque is located near the city center and is the largest and most famous mosque in the city. The history of this mosque dates back to the fifteenth century, as it was built by the grandson of the founder of the city, Medina. The mosque is distinguished by its amazing architecture in the Moroccan style, which combines Andalusian and Spanish elements together. The mosque is dominated from the outside by the light clay color, but from the inside the mosque is filled with decorations as well as many amazing mosaic panels.
