The Greater Cairo Library is the largest public library in Egypt, and it is also an important cultural and civilizational center to serve researchers, scholars, and the general public of different groups and ages. It is located on the Nile, and its most prominent feature is also its ancient architectural design, as the building was a historical palace that was owned by the daughter of Sultan Hussein Kamel, Princess Samiha Kamel, in the late nineteenth century.
