Name of the place
Gunpowder Garden
Gunpowder Garden
The Gunpowder Garden was named by this name because of the presence of the royal factory of gunpowder and salt in it at the beginning of the seventeenth century, which was considered the only Spanish factory that supplied fighters with gunpowder and bullets during the War of Independence, and in 1987, the land became owned by the municipality and in the following years work was carried out to convert it into a park General, and there are many distinctive features where the Spanish-Arab gardens were recreated with a fountain with three types of arches that symbolize the three cultures that coexisted in the Segura Valley.
