Gwanggyo History Park
Gwangju Historical Park was established to preserve the tombs and historical buildings that exist in its territory. The park was opened to visitors in 2012, and since then more than 200,000 tourists visit it every year. These buildings and tombs date back to the early Joseon Dynasty, and they are well-preserved because rulers and kings throughout history were keen to preserve and restore them. This park can be visited with a guide to learn about the history of all the buildings in it in detail.
