The Gyeongjeon Shrine was built in 1410, and inside it houses the images of King Tae-jo, who founded the Korean kingdom of Joseon and was its first ruler. Visitors will also find in this shrine the remains of his wife, and pictures of a number of kings who came after him. Although centuries have passed since the establishment of the shrine, it is still in very excellent condition. The mausoleum is also surrounded by spacious gardens, in which visitors will be able to relax and spend a wonderful time with their friends and loved ones.
